Pennsyvania Operation LIfesaver and Amtrak honor a PAOL  volunteer at the Harrisburg Amtrak Station.

     Amtrak employee and Operation Lifesaver volunteer Roger Mitchell used his suicide prevention skills learned in the military to persuade a trespasser from commiting suicide on Jan 22, 2020.

      A presentation ceremony was held at the Harrisburg Amtrak station on July 2^nd , 2021, where Roger Mitchell was presented with placques acknowledging his quick actions which saved a life.
